Kyle Sheldon has nearly 20 years of experience working in professional soccer in the United States. An award-winning marketer, his career in Major League Soccer has included stops at Seattle Sounders FC, D.C. United, and Chicago Fire FC.

A highly-mediocre, Division III soccer player at St. Olaf College in MN, Kyle has dedicated his career to growing the world’s game in the U.S.

He lives outside of Chicago with his wife, Corinne, and their two boys, Jack (5) and Noel (3).

OUR NAME

While the game may have been invented abroad, soccer has a long and storied history in the United States dating back to the late 1800s.

The first team to wear a number on the back of its kit - in the world! - was a club from St. Louis named Vesper-Buick back in the 1920s. The team reached the pinnacle of the sport in 1924, losing to the Fall River Marksmen in the U.S. National Final.

Our agency’s name is a nod to Vesper Buick’s innovation and in honor of soccer's centuried history in America.
